Take your college basketball team on a 10-day cultural/basketball tour of China and you never know what you might encounter.
But the hotel clerks seem to be unfailingly accommodating, as the Arizona State Sun Devils have discovered this week.
The Sun Devils and their 34-person traveling party were checking into their hotel and firming up arrangements for a group function in one of the hotel's meeting rooms.
Clerk to team representative: What should we put on the sign?
Team rep: Arizona State University should suffice.
Clerk: As you wish.
A hotel in China asked someone at ASU about some signage. The answer was, "Arizona St. University should suffice" pic.twitter.com/Ljmnuogs7H
