LA Coliseum to play host to high school football doubleheader

A blockbuster doubleheader between four Los Angeles City Section football rivals will be held Saturday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
In the first game, Roosevelt High faces Huntington Park. That contest will be followed by Hamilton High, last year's Division 2 winners versus
Los Angeles High, the defending Division 3 champions.
Roosevelt comes into the game with a 2-2 mark, having evened its record with a 27-3 victory over Eagle Rock last week. Huntington Park is 3-1.
Hamilton High School is 1-3, coming in having lost two straight, and will be tested by Los Angeles High, which is undefeated in three contests.
Players and coaches will have a memorable opportunity to play at the stadium near the University of Southern California's campus, and home of the Trojans. The Coliseum also is known worldwide as the first venue to host two Olympic Summer Games.
The matchups mark what the Los Angeles Unified School District hopes will become an annual event known as the "LA Coliseum Gridiron Clash."
