Kraft wins 7th World Cup ski jump of the season

PLANICA, Slovenia (AP) Stefan Kraft of Austria earned his seventh World Cup ski jump victory of the season on Friday to extend his overall lead.
Kraft can clinch his maiden season title in the ski jump season finale on Sunday, but second-placed Kamil Stoch of Poland remained in touch at 86 points behind. Race winners earn 100 points. Daniel Andre Tande of Norway was a distant third overall.
Kraft jumped 243 meters in the first round and 240.5 in the second for a total of 490.2 points in Planica.
Andreas Wellinger was almost 10 points (480.4) behind in second, and German countryman Markus Eisenbichler was third (461.8).
