And so the Kevin Kolb Era in Arizona joins the Matt Cassel era in Kansas City in the Failed Quarterback Experiment Hall of Fame. Both Kolb and Cassel, once so full of promise, are now looking for work. Matt Flynn may be next, and he never even got off the ground with the Seahawks. But who had the worst tenure with his respective team? Let’s look at the stats. RECORDCassel: 19-28 in four seasons. Kolb: 6-8 in 14 games. Flynn: 0-0. TD-INT RATIOCassel: 59-44 with the Chiefs. Kolb: 17-11 with the Cardinals. Slight mathematical edge to Kolb. Flynn: 0-0 with the Seahawks. BEST GAMECassel: Tough to choose between these three gems in 2010 – a 34-14 win over the Titans in which he went 24-34 for 314 yards and three touchdowns; a 49-29 loss to Denver, in which he went 33-53 for 469 yards and four touchdowns; or a 42-24 win over the Seahawks, in which he went 22-32 for 233 yards and four touchdowns. Kolb: A 27-6 win over his former team, the Eagles, in Week 3 of 2012. Kolb completed 17 of 24 passes and threw two touchdowns. Flynn: Went 5-9 for 68 yards in garbage time of a 58-0 win over Kolb’s Cardinals in Week 13. WORST GAMECassel: A 31-10 loss to Raiders in 2010, in which he went 11-33 for 115 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions. Kolb: He was knocked out of a Week 14 game against the 49ers in 2011 following the first series. The worst part, John Skelton – yes, the Fordham phenom – rallied the Cardinals to a win.
