Plenty has been said about the resignation of Ohio State President Gordon Gee. After his comments at a December event leaked out, a firestorm hit Columbus, and it resulted in the almost-inevitable resignation of Gee.
However, of all the comments we have seen, this summarizes the events as nicely as we can imagine. Read what Kirby Reese had to say;
It was time...... You do not publicly issue statements like his in the type of position he held, and not expect retribution. Humor or not, you don't do that. He couldn't see that, and I am afraid that is why he paid the price.
