Kevin Love will enter free agency after the season, but the Cavaliers star power forward is making it clear that opposing teams needn't get too excited.

During interviews with two national radio talk shows, Love said he plans to remain with the Cavs well beyond this season.

"I'm a Cavalier and I plan on being a Cavalier for a long time," he told The Chris Mannix Show, which airs Sundays on NBC Sports Radio.

That statement echoes something Love said on ESPN Radio's Mike & Mike on Wednesday.

"Whether we lose two or three games in a row, or there's a game where my statistical output isn't necessarily what it should be, people are always going to talk," Love said.

"Since I was traded to Cleveland this summer, I've said since Day 1 that I'm a Cleveland Cavalier long term and I plan for it to be that way. If I could end all the speculation now, I would. But people are going to continue to talk no matter what."

Love was traded from the Timberwolves to the Cavs in August as part of a three-way deal that also involved the 76ers. In return, the Timberwolves received the previous two No. 1 overall picks in the NBA Draft from Cleveland -- forward Anthony Bennett and swingman Andrew Wiggins. They also received forward Thaddeus Young from Philadelphia.

Meanwhile, Love joined forces with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving to form the league's latest version of a hyped Big Three.

Several weeks ago, Love shot down a report he was interested in signing with the Los Angeles Lakers after the season.

"Going to the Lakers, I don't know where someone got that," he said.

The Cavs have won four straight, and Love is scoring 27.5 points and grabbing 10 rebounds a game over the last two games.

For the season, he is averaging 17.9 points and 9.5 rebounds.

Love's complete interview on The Chris Mannix Show will be broadcast Sunday night at 6 ET.
