Kenya's Kandie wins Prague international marathon

PRAGUE (AP) Felix Kipchirchir Kandie of Kenya won the Prague International Marathon on Sunday while Yebrgual Melese of Ethiopia claimed the women's race.

Kandie completed the 21st edition of the race in 2 hours, 8 minutes and 32 seconds to lead a 1-2 Kenyan finish.

Evans Kiplagat Chebet finished in 2:08:50, ahead of Deribe Robi of Ethiopia in 2:09:05.

Yebrgual Melese crossed the finish line in 2:23:49, edging Sara Moreira of Portugal by 1 minute.
