Though Kent State lost 38-24 to Northern Illinois over the weekend, the performance of Golden Flash star Dri Archer gained national attention.

The senior running back/wide receiver returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown and scored on a 66-yard reception on his way to 193 all-purpose yards.

That got him inclusion on the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll for week six of the college football season along with Miami (Fla.) running back Duke Johnson, Stanford wide receiver Ty Montgomery and Florida cornerback Loucheiz Purifoy.

Created by the Louisville Sports Commission in 2010, the Paul Hornung Award is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football.
