LOS ANGELES -- That is not good, not
good at all.

Matt Kemp, the Dodgers’ most heralded position player,
appears to have aggravated his left hamstring again. The Dodgers confirmed Kemp
aggravated his previous hamstring injury and said he was scheduled for an MRI
on Thursday.

Kemp walked with two outs in the first inning Wednesday night and
scored from first base on an Andre Ethier double. Kemp scored standing up and
without a play at the plate, but seemed to let up coming down the third base
line. Kemp walked into the dugout, snapped a bat over his knee and disappeared
into the clubhouse.

Tony Gwynn Jr.replaced Kemp in center field to start the
second inning. Kemp was in his second game since coming off the disabled list
Tuesday.
