When Kansas State took the field against Oregon in Thursday night's Fiesta Bowl, the Wildcats wore a special decal on the back of their helmets in support of the Newtown, Conn., community.

Students of Sandy Hook Elementary School returned to class Thursday for the first time since the tragic shooting that left 20 children and six adults dead on Dec. 14. They attended a school in a neighboring community, however, as the Sandy Hook campus remains a crime scene and is closed.

Kansas State Wildcats wide receiver Andre Jackson tweeted the picture of the helmet on Wednesday, along with a message of "We remember Sandy Hook Elementary ..."
