ARLINGTON, Texas – Kansas State defensive end Meshak Williams was carted off the field in the second quarter of Friday’s AT&T Cotton Bowl after colliding with a teammate.
Williams was able to raise both hands as he was taken off the field.
Williams collided with Emmanuel Lamur as both were trying to tackle Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson. Lamur hit Williams in the neck and the impact jarred Williams’ helmet loose. Lamur also went down on the play but was able to get up under his own power.
