Kansas, Iowa State top 2 seeds in Big 12 tournament

Iowa State wrapped up the No. 2 seed behind Kansas in the Big 12 tournament in the last game of the regular season.
The Cyclones' 89-76 win Saturday night at TCU locked in the pairings for the tournament that starts Wednesday in Kansas City.
No. 8 seed Kansas State and No. 9 seed TCU play the tournament opener Wednesday, with the winner facing the regular-season champion Jayhawks on Thursday. Iowa State plays its quarterfinal game against the winner of Wednesday night's game matching No. 7 seed Texas and No. 10 seed Texas Tech.
With Iowa State's win, Oklahoma became the No. 3 seed and Baylor No. 4. The Sooners play No. 6 seed Oklahoma State on Thursday, and the Bears play No. 5 seed West Virginia.
