Johnny Football inspires teen's haircut

Johnny Manziel has inspired a catchy nickname, an old-fashioned song by a middle-aged woman and now a haircut that got somebody sent home from school.
Christian Chavez, 17, showed up to Hill Country High School school in Manziel's native Kerrville, Texas with the Texas A&M quarterback's likeness and name shaved into his head. Chavez was sent home for a violation of the school's dress code, according to an ESPN report. Chavez's haircut does violate at least two elements of the dress code. It used colors not naturally occurring in human hair, and could be deemed "distracting."
Like everything Johnny Football these days, the whole episode has gone viral, and Chavez even had the foresight to have himself filmed while he was getting the haircut. The video has more than 20,000 views on YouTube.
Chavez plans to keep the haircut through the weekend.
"Might as well keep it keep it tomorrow (Friday) and get it cut either Sunday or Monday. I thought I would be fine," he told ESPN.com. "I was surprised. My mom came and got me. She didn't like the fact they told me to go home."
