Johnny Football also becoming Johnny Baseball?

What you are looking at, here, is alleged to be a video of Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel taking batting practice at the Padres stadium in San Diego, and hitting a home run.

You can't see Manziel's face in the video, but he is known to be in San Diego, where he is working with a quarterbacks coach named George Whitfield, Jr., and you'll notice that is the name associated with the Vine.com video.

Later, the Padres posted their own Vine to their Twitter page, this time from the front, confirming it was indeed Manziel crushing balls at Petco Park.

Manziel threw out the first pitch Thursday night before the game ... in an awesome custom Padres jersey that had the Heisman Trophy logo patched on the right shoulder.

So it appears that Johnny Football might be an overly reductionist nickname. The dude can play baseball, too.

Oh, and golf. He broke 80 at Pebble Beach the other day.
