Joe Reedy joins FOXSportsOhio.com as Indians beat reporter

CLEVELAND, OH â€“ SportsTime Ohio and FOX Sports Ohio are pleased to announce the addition of JOE REEDY to the FOXSportsOhio.com team.

Reedy will provide fans with comprehensive analysis of the Cleveland Indians with features and columns on a daily basis. He will also pursue coverage of other Ohio sports topics during the Indians offseason.

Reedy brings more than 24 years of journalism experience to FOXSportsOhio.com. He has spent the past eight-plus years at The Cincinnati Enquirer, including the past five as the Bengals beat writer. In addition to covering four Super Bowls, Reedy has been a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Board of Selectors since 2009 and was named the Best Sports Writer by the Associated Press Society of Ohio in 2009. While at The Enquirer, he also covered University of Kentucky football and basketball for two years, four Kentucky Derby's and auto racing, including three Indianapolis 500s.  

Reedy broke into the business in 1990 at the Warren Tribune-Chronicle, covering high schools along with auto racing, college football and basketball with an emphasis on the Mid-American and Ohio Athletic conferences. He has also worked at the Meadville (Pa.) Tribune, Glens Falls (NY) Post-Star, The Gainesville Sun, The Journal News (White Plains, NY), Newport News Daily Press and Palm Beach Post. While at Glens Falls and Gainesville, he covered the New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Reedy was born in Warren and is a graduate of Warren John F. Kennedy High School. He received a BA in journalism from Kent State University.
