Jesse Temple honored in USBWA writing contest

FOX Sports Wisconsin Badgers beat writer Jesse Temple was honored by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association in its 2013 Best Writing Contest as having one of the top game coverage/spot news stories.
The contest, which received a record 179 entries, is sponsored by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Temple was awarded fifth place for his game story on Wisconsin's loss to Mississippi in the NCAA tournament.
Temple is the only Wisconsin-based writer to be honored by the USBWA in its 2013 contest, which includes writers on both a national and local level.
