Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jay Bruce could need surgery according to multiple reports.
Bruce pinch-hit Sunday afternoon in Cincinnati's come from behind win over the Brewers. He struck out in his only at-bat.
John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer was the first to tweet with the story.

ESPN's Jerry Crasnick reports that Bruce has a partially torn meniscus in his left knee, and will miss up to four weeks after his proceedure.

Bruce is batting .218 this season with three home runs on the year.
