Japan's Takanashi wins again in women's ski jump World Cup

OSLO, Norway (AP) Sara Takanashi of Japan soared to her eighth straight ski jumping World Cup victory on Thursday, extending her lead in the overall standings.
The teenager had the longest jumps in both rounds - 137.5 followed by 136 meters - for a total of 305.8 points.
Local favorite Maren Lundby finished in second with 285.1 points after jumps of 136.5 and 134 meters.
Russia's Irina Avvakumova finished in third with 254.7 points.

Takanashi's win puts her on 980 points in the overall rankings after 10 of the 19 rounds of competition. She's now 331 points ahead of second placed Daniela Iraschko-Stolz of Austria, who finished fourth.
Slovenia's Maja Vtic is third on 448 points.
