It's a fact of recruiting that teams and fan bases will always wonder "what if" about players that wound up going to other schools.
Such is the case with TCU and Oregon star running back LaMichael James, a Texas native who was close to committing to the Horned Frogs before signing with the Ducks. James even had acknowledged as much on multiple occasions, but thus far refused to tell the story of exactly what steered him away from TCU.
On Friday, James finally revealed exactly what happened while in Dallas to accept the Doak Walker Award given to the nation's top running back.
