ATLANTA — Hiding among the fans at his seat in Turner Field wearing a blue visor with a blonde wig built into it, Jake "The Snake" Roberts made his way up on to the top of the Atlanta Braves dugout and let loose.

"Take me out to the ball game," the former professional wrestler sang, a smile stretched across his face as he paced back and forth.

Despite having the words in a folded paper he clutched in his hand, Roberts tripped up. But, as he said before serenading the 43,238 on hand during Atlanta's 8-5 win over the Dodgers: "What are they going to do, boo the hell out of me? It's not like I'm Roseanne Barr."

Forgive Roberts if he simply seems to be enjoying life these days.

Clean after years of battling drug and alcohol addiction, the 1980s wrestling icon is getting his body back in shape with the help of former protégé Diamond Dallas Page's DDP Yoga. The two are living in a metro Atlanta home — that Page has nicknamed the "Accountability Crib" — with Scott Hall, another ex-wrestler who is attempting his own life revival.

"I'm getting my life back together, and things are going well," Roberts said.

While he said this was his first time singing in front of thousands, it wasn't Roberts' first time putting on a show on a diamond.

While competing in a softball game in 1988 with other WWF wrestlers in Quebec, The Snake made this spectacular catch and proceeded to bow to the crowd.
