Jaguars preseason features national TV showdown with Bears

The Jacksonville Jaguars begin their preseason with a home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will play Aug. 14 at Chicago to face the Bears in a matchup that will be televised by ESPN.
Of their four games in the schedule released Wednesday, only the one against the Bears was assigned a specific date. The meeting with the Bucs will be played the week of Aug. 7-10, and the Jaguars will end the preseason with a home game against the Atlanta Falcons on or around Aug. 28.
The dates for those games, as well as one at Detroit, will be announced at a later date.
The Jaguars' only appearance on national television last season came in early December when they defeated the Houston Texans in a game shown by the NFL Network.
