Jags plan to add depth at quarterback

Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey said the team has moved on after failing to land Tim Tebow, but plans to add a quarterback to compete with second-year man Blaine Gabbert and veteran Chad Henne.
"We're probably going to add another quarterback if not two by the time we go to camp. So there'll be a competition there and at every other position," said Mularkey. "We're ready to move forward and let these guys compete."
Mularkey said Gabbert is excited to go through a full offseason after having to wait out the lockout following the draft last year.
"He's coming in now with all this game experience to an offseason and then all of a sudden now you've got some controlled environments where you can really spend some quality time without putting the pressure on him to get it done prepping for a game," said Mularkey. "I just think it'll be good for him. He's itching to get in there, I know he wants to get in front of the coaches and start the process of installing the offense. I know he's anxious to do it."
Like everyone else, it's a fresh start for Gabbert with a new coaching staff. At just 22 years old, he's expected to win the starting job over Henne.
"This is a fresh start for everybody," said Mularkey. "Fresh start for the team, fresh start for the staff, this organization. Everything from when we got here was all what we were looking at. Nothing was moving forward. That's a conversation that already took place before I met him."
