Jack Skille has been placed on injured reserve in a move the Columbus Blue Jackets announced Friday.

It is retroactive to Dec. 31 when the 26-year-old forward suffered an upper body injury at Colorado.

Skille has scored four goals and been credited with 14 hits in 12 games this season. He has a +2 rating.

A first-round draft pick of the Blackhawks in 2006, Skille also has two goals and an assist for the AHL Springfield Falcons this season.
