CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Julius Peppers may have already played his last game in a Carolina Panthers uniform, according to a team source.
The
team has a press conference scheduled for Tuesday to address the issue
as to whether to apply the franchise tag on Peppers or allow him to
become an unrestricted free agent.
ESPN�s Adam Schefter is
reporting that a team source has said the team will likely not
franchise Peppers and he will be free to play elsewhere.
The official announcement is expected to come at the news conference along with a number of other issues.
