'Inside the Heat: Luol Deng' premieres Feb. 20 on Sun Sports

MIAMI -- On Friday, Feb. 20 at 10:30 p.m., Sun Sports, the regional television home of the Miami HEAT, will debut a new episode of "Inside the HEAT" upon conclusion of the HEAT vs. New York Knicks game. Titled "Luol Deng," this episode goes from Sudan to South Beach providing an all-access look at the first-year HEAT forward.
Hosted by Jason Jackson, the show takes place in scenic Brickell atop a rooftop soccer field. The rooftop soccer field provides the perfect backdrop for Deng's story as his first love was soccer, which he took a liking to as a young child growing up in Sudan. "Inside the HEAT: Luol Deng" takes viewers through Deng's life as he eventually made his way to New Jersey, where he would become a basketball star in high school and a college star at Duke University.
Fans will follow Deng's NBA career as he spent nine seasons in Chicago, one season in Cleveland, and ultimately made his decision this offseason to come to Miami to join the HEAT. It's not just about making moves on the court as the episode also provides a look at his ever-growing foundation work and the unique ways he gives back to the people and places that are so dear to his heart. Finally, Luol's soccer skills are in full display as he and Jason go head to head in a soccer shoot out.
