NEW DELHI (AP) India has appointed former test batsman Sanjay Bangar as the team's batting coach and Abhay Sharma as fielding coach for its forthcoming tour of the West Indies.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the appointments on its Twitter feed on Saturday, two days after it named former captain Anil Kumble as head coach.

All the three will take up their positions with the West Indies tour, which starts July 6 and includes four test matches.
