The Cleveland Indians' top prospect  Francisco Lindor, has been named the International League Player of the Week.

The Columbus Clippers shortstop hit .423 with 11 hits, six runs, one double, two triples, one home run and two RBI last week.

Despite Lindor's hot streak, the Indians aren't ready to call up the highly-touted young star. The team made a handful of roster moves late Sunday night, including the demotion of shortstop Jose Ramirez -- a move that many thought would lead to Lindor's major-league call-up. Instead, utility infielder Zach Walters was recalled.

Indians general manager Chris Antonetti said that Lindor was considered for a promotion, but is dealing with minor hand and core injuries.

"We felt it was best for the individual and the team to go with this series of moves," Antonetti said on a conference call Monday morning. He added that he was "confident" Lindor would make an impact on the major-league club in the near future.
