The Indians have signed pitcher Mark Lowe and catcher George Kottaras to minor-league deals.
Kottaras was with the Royals during spring training but was released last week. There is a chance he could get called up soon since Yan Gomes is the only listed catcher on the roster and Terry Francona has not said how many games Carlos Santana will catch.
Lowe was with the Rays in spring training after being with the Angels last year.
