June 16, 1997 was the first meeting of the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds in their battle for the Ohio Cup. The current series record stands at 45-44, Indians with the single game advantage.
The series has been full of many memorable moments.
Last season saw a Jumbo Diaz wild pitch out of the bullpen that somehow made it's way onto the field. Before the Indians started their 3-game series with the Reds at Progressive Fied, they made sure that wouldn't happen again.
