Indians recall RHP Salazar to start vs. Orioles

CLEVELAND (AP) -- The Indians have recalled right-hander Danny Salazar from Triple-A to start their series finale against the Baltimore Orioles.
Salazar began the season in Cleveland's rotation, but has struggled and was twice sent back to Columbus to work on his mechanics. He's beginning his third stint with the Indians, who will try to complete a sweep of Baltimore on Sunday.
Salazar is 4-5 with a 4.88 ERA in 12 starts for the Indians this season. During his recent demotion with the Clippers, he went 3-1 with a 3.68 ERA in four starts.
The Indians still have high hopes for Salazar, who rose quickly through their system last season and started the AL wild-card playoff game.
To make room for Salazar, the Indians sent outfielder Tyler Holt to Columbus.
