The Arms: Corey Kluber and Carlos Carrasco each gave up a run in the two innings they pitched but both were effective. The only hit that Kluber gave up was an infield single by Alex Rios in the second. ... Vinny Pestano's first game of the spring was quick work as he retired the side in the fifth on seven pitches ... David Aardsma had a rough outing in the sixth as he gave up two runs and three hits. However he was credited with the win as the Tribe scored the go-ahead run in the seventh when he was still the pitcher of record. ... C.C. Lee struck out two of three batters he faced in the ninth to earn the save.

The Bats: Elliot Johnson was 3 for 3, including a triple to right in the sixth that drove in two runs. ... Jeff Francour was 2 for 3 with two RBI. ... David Adams drove in the go-ahead run in the seventh with a ground out that scored Carlos Moncrief.

The Gloves: Luke Carlin had a throwing error in the second inning as Rios stole second and advanced to third.
