India reaches 259-2 at tea on Day 2 against West Indies

KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) An unbeaten 150 from Lokesh Rahul helped India reach 259-2 at tea on the second day of the second test against the West Indies on Sunday.
Replying to the hosts' disappointing first innings total of 196, Rahul helped the tourists to a 63-run lead at the break after a second session that saw the only wicket of the day. Cheteshwar Pujara was run out for 46, and made way for Virat Kohli (21).
Resuming on 126-1 overnight, India kept the runs coming, thanks to Rahul, whose 150 total included 13 boundaries and three sixes.
However, despite the lack of wickets, West Indies' bowlers have so far managed to prevent India from running away with the match at Sabina Park.
The tourists managed only 74 runs in the second session, for the loss of Pujara, while pace bowlers Shannon Gabriel and Jason Holder have both limited India to two runs an over.
The hosts trail 1-0 in the four-match series after an innings defeat in the first test.
