India needs 7 more West Indies wickets to win 3rd test

GROS ISLET, St. Lucia (AP) India has two sessions left in the third test to claim seven more West Indies wickets as the hosts went to lunch Saturday on 53-3.
India earlier declared its second innings on 217-7 - with an overall lead of 345 - after needing just nine overs on the fifth day to increase its score from 157-3 overnight.
Openers Kraigg Brathwaite (4) and Leon Johnson (0) both fell in the first five overs of West Indies' second innings, and Marlon Samuels followed soon after - bowled by Ishant Sharma for 12.

West Indies put up resistance with Darren Bravo 26 not out and Roston Chase, who is playing up the order, unbeaten on 10. The hosts need another 293 runs for an unlikely victory.
India leads the four-match series 1-0.
