Imaginary autograph signed by Orioles player on eBay; Rockets' bad decision


Here are the highlights from Wednesday's White Sox-Orioles game that was played in front of zero fans. At one point, Baltimore play-by-play man Gary Thorne called the game as if it were a golf tournament.
Orioles catcher Caleb Joseph signed phantom autographs.
Those phantom autographs are not going for $19.99 on eBay.

And, of course, Brian Williams was there.

By now, you know that the Rockets' official Twitter account sent out a tweet after the team eliminated the Mavericks on Tuesday that contained a emojis of a gun shooting a horse with the words, "Shh, it'll all be over soon." Yesterday, it was revealed that the team fired the social-media manager who sent the harmless tweet. An interesting thing has happened, though. People are actually fighting back against the Twitter police and this decision and there's a petition to get Chad Shanks his job back. If you listen to Shanks' thoughtfulness while discussing the saga, it's hard to imagine he will be out of work for long.
Not only did Alex Rodriguez go 0 for 6 with four strikeouts and a game-ending double play in a loss to Tampa Wednesday, the New York Daily News also tried to imply that he went after Derek Jeter's girlfriend, Hannah Davis, just based on A-Rod and Davis taking one photo together at an event.
