If Dikembe Mutombo emailed you saying he was robbed in the Philippines, ignore it

Did Dikembe Mutombo email you saying he had been robbed in the Philippines?

If so, do not worry: He has not been robbed. Nor did he email you. Don't reply or send any money to anyone.

In an Instagram post, Mutombo advised his followers that they should not respond to an email about him getting robbed in the Philippines, because he did not send that email.

He later posted a follow-up video, in which he said his email was hacked by "crazy people" who "need to get a life."
