Hurricanes learn 2013-14 ACC basketball foes

The University of Miami men's basketball team will defend its Atlantic Coast Conference title against some of the nation's top teams in 2013-14.

Miami will play host to Duke, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame and rival Florida State at the BankUnited Center. Syracuse, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame are all playing their first seasons of ACC basketball.

The Hurricanes will also play host to Virginia Tech, NC State, Wake Forest and Boston College in the 2013-14 season. Miami will travel to Florida State, Virginia Tech, Syracuse and NC State, as well as Georgia Tech, Clemson, North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland.

Dates and times will be released in the fall.

Miami went 29-7 and reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament in 2013, securing one of the best seasons in program history.

Among the regular-season wins were victories over Duke, Michigan State, NC State and North Carolina. The Hurricanes also won the ACC tournament for the first time.
