Kurt Twichell had a pretty good Friday night under the lights.
First, the White Pigeon, Mich., assistant coach helped guide his high school football team to a 30-6 victory over Centreville in the league opener to improve to 3-2 for the season.
Next, Twichell dropped to one knee and presented a ring to his girlfriend, who joyfully said yes as players, coaches and friends looked on along the winning sideline — on homecoming weekend, no less.
We can't wait to see what the Chiefs do for an encore next week in their game at Bronson.
