How they voted: Badgers in 2014 AP football poll (Week 15)

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 7:55 p.m. ET

With a few top teams losing and Wisconsin beating a then-top 25 opponent in Minnesota, no surprise that the Badgers moved up to No. 11 in the latest Associated Press poll.

The Badgers gained 146 votes, and this is with one ballot missing as Steve Sipple of the Lincoln Journal Star didn't turn one in (perhaps that Bo Pelini firing news got him a bit sidetracked).

Anyway, unlike last week when some voters moved Wisconsin down despite beating Nebraska, everyone moved the Badgers up on their ballot with two exceptions.

Charles Davis kept UW at No. 9, which is a high ranking, so no real qualm here. Jon Wilner kept the Badgers at No. 14. Not sure I get that one as much. Fourteen is also the lowest Wisconsin was ranked this past week.

The biggest boost Wisconsin got this week was from Drew Sharp, who moved the Badgers from 18 to 12.
