Another season, another weekly look (and as we progress, season) at the directions and success of Wisconsin's run game as well as the targets thrown to by Badgers quarterbacks.
For those who remember this feature, I've tried to format it a little differently. I hope it is easier to read/decipher. For those new to this feature, I rewatch the game and chart each play, but don't track QB runs as they might be unplanned (i.e. scrambles) and/or sacks. Generally speaking, a run middle is over where the center lined up, inside is over where the guard lined up, outside the tackle or just beyond and wide is usually a reverse, end around, etc.
A couple of quick notes from this past week against LSU: I didn't include Reggie Love in the individual breakdown but he is included in the totals. Also, I had to add a new stat this year: Batted down and caught. As Kyle Costigan caught a Tanner McEvoy stat but he was not the target of the pass. In addition, I gave McEvoy a throw away on one pass. He threw in the direciton of Melvin Gordon, but it was plainly obvious he was just throwing the ball out of bounds.

LI = left inside; LO= left outside; LW = left wide (i.e. end around); MID = middle; RI = right inside; RO = right outside; RW = right wide; INT = intended receiver on an interception
