If bettors or casual fans of horse racing had a problem coming up with 13-1 shot Cloud Computing to win Saturday's 142nd Preakness Stakes, imagine what it took to connect on the Super High Five.
The $1 bet at Pimlico Race Course rewards those who are able to come up with the first five finishers across the finish line ... in exact order.
So, when you combine a ticket with Cloud Computing, Classic Empire, Senior Investment, Lookin At Lee and Gunnevera and you wind up with a huge payoff. As in: 13-1 over 2-1 over 31-1 over 9-1 and 11-1 in fifth.
If you were able to connect on that Super High Five bet for a buck, the 2-5-8-9-6 ticket returned $283,223.40.
Big balloons, as they say at the track.
