When individual game tickets for the upcoming Texas Rangers season go on sale Saturday at 9 a.m., you can expect some games to be more popular than others given the promotional schedule.
Among the highlights are a Ron Washington bobblehead Aug. 25 and a Nolan Ryan Snow Monkey July 1. Yu Darvish also gets promo treatment June 30 with a t-shirt giveaway.
The Rangers also have giveaways tied in with the team's 40th anniversary. A calendar starts the nostalgia train Apr. 7 and there's also a Mother's Day pink retro t-shirt (May 13) and a powder blue shirt (Aug. 11).
The club will also give away replica trophies honoring last year's team Apr. 8.
There are three concerts on tap. A pregame concert features Casting Crowns May 26 and there are postgame concerts June 30 (Reckless Kelly) and July 28 (Jack Ingram).
