Bat flips weren't exactly a controversial topic until Jose Bautista chucked his after hitting a home run in last year's playoffs. Since then, they have been discussed at length over whether or not they're are disrespecting the game.
Well, one person who doesn't think bat flips are a problem is Ryan Sepede of Bishop Gorman High School in Nevada. After hitting a walk-off grand slam to win by one run, Sepede flipped his bat to the moon. The ball probably landed over the fence before his bat did.
Here's another look, with an "excuse me" from Sepede.
