ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Briadam Herrera won the men's 1-meter springboard and Lisa Faulkner took the women's 10-meter platform title at the USA Diving national championships Tuesday.
Herrera totaled 435 points to beat second-place Aaron Fleshner by 60.85 points. Cory Bowersox was third at 356.05.
Herrera scored no lower than 67.20 points on any of his six dives. The native of Cuba became a U.S. citizen last year and represented his new country at the recent World University Games, where he won a bronze medal on 1-meter.
Faulkner scored 342.70 to win the platform title at her home pool. Cheyenne Cousineau was second at 305.50. Katrina Young finished third at 300.15.
