Herath hat-trick helps Sri Lanka dismiss Australia for 106

GALLE, Sri Lanka (AP) Rangana Herath took a hat-trick as Australia was bowled out for 106 in the first innings of the second test on Friday - its lowest-ever total in test cricket against Sri Lanka.
Herath dismissed Adam Voges (8), who was caught by Dimuth Karunaratne at extra-cover, and trapped Peter Neville and Mitchell Starc lbw in his seventh over to complete the hat-trick and become only the second Sri Lankan cricketer to achieve the feat after seam bowler Nuwan Zoysa.
Herath partnered with off-spinner Dilruwan Perera to take eight Australian wickets in the morning after the tourists had resumed the day at 54-2.
Perera returned best figures of 4-29, while Herath had 4-35.
Sri Lanka made 281 in its first innings and leads Australia by 175 runs.
