Hello 500! Albert Pujols joins 500 homer club

Pujols is the second player to reach the milestone in an Angels uniform. The other was Reggie Jackson.
Pujols hit No. 499 earlier in the day in the first innning on a three-run homer.
He became the first player in MLB history to hit his 499th and 500th career home runs in the same game and now leads the major leagues with eight homers through 20 games and has a team-high 19 RBIs.
With 22 more homers this season, he would pass eight players -- Eddie Murray (504), Gary Sheffield (509), Mel Ott (511), Eddie Matthews (512), Ernie Banks (512), Ted Williams (521), Frank Thomas (521) and Willie McCovey (521) -- on baseball's all-time list.
