The Miami Heat once again are going international.

Last fall, it was a preseason trip to China. On Tuesday, the Heat announced the team will hold training camp in the Bahamas. The Heat will practice Oct. 1-4 at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort.

Following media day next Monday in Miami, the Heat will head overseas. They’ll have two practices a day in the Imperial Ballroom at the Atlantis Conference Center.

The Heat, in a press release, thanked Bahamas Prime Minister Perry Christie and Minister of Tourism Obie Wilchcombe for their assistance in making this happen.

The Heat are going for their third straight NBA title. This is the second time in four seasons they've held training camp outside of Miami, having also done so in 2010 at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
