ATLANTA -- On Thursday, Hawks guard Lou Williams had surgery to repair an ACL tear in his right knee.
The procedure was performed by orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews.
Williams, who sustained the season-ending injury a few weeks ago, will soon begin rehab, in hopes of returning for training camp in October.
Before the injury, Williams posted solid per-game marks in scoring (14.1), assists (3.6) and steals (1.1), while shooting 42 percent from the field.
