Hawks' Millsap, Schroder added to All-Star events

The Atlanta Hawks' takeover of All-Star Weekend continues as Paul Millsap and Dennis Schroder step in as injury replacement in two of the NBA's marquee events.
Millsap, who will also play in the league's All-Star Game for the second straight season, was added to the Shooting Stars challenge -- also featuring Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins -- in place of Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis, who sprained his shoulder over the weekend. Millsap will team up with Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen and WNBA star Elena Delle Donne (Chicago Sky) in the event.
The three other teams are captained by Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, Warriors guard Stephen Curry and Heat big man Chris Bosh.
Schroder, who will also compete in the Rising Stars Challenge, which pits the league's top young U.S.-born and international players, was similarly selected as an injury replacement in the Skills Challenge. The second-year guard steps in for Bulls guard Jimmy Butler in the event. Atlanta starting point guard Jeff Teague will also compete in the challenge for the second-consecutive season, along six other NBA guards.
The Hawks will feature a record-tying four All-Stars in Sunday's game: Millsap, Teague, Al Horford and Kyle Korver. Additionally, Atlanta head coach Mike Budenholzer and his staff will coach the Eastern Conference All-Stars in recognition of carrying the East's top record into the All-Star break.
