Harris is first 2015 verbal for Ohio State basketball

Ohio State basketball head coach Thad Matta picked up his first recruit for the 2015 class with the verbal commitment of southwest Ohio point guard A.J. Harris on Monday night.
Scout.com national recruiting analyst Brian Snow broke the news.
The 5-8, 180-pound Harris comes from the highly successful Dayton Dunbar program that has previously sent players such as Daequan Cook and Mark Baker to Ohio State and can boast of alumnus Norris Cole making a niche with the two-time NBA champion Miami Heat.
The newest Buckeye verbal is rated the No. 13 point guard in his class nationally by Scout and shares an AAU team with two other highly regarded Ohioans that Matta would no doubt like to land – 2015 guard Luke Kennard of Franklin and 2016 guard/forward V.J. King of Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary.
