Hamilton: 50/50 chance of returning to Texas

ARLINGTON, Texas — Josh Hamilton stood in front of his locker Friday night at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington for possibly the final time as a member of the team.
Although he said he hadn't thought about it possibly being his final game in a Rangers uniform, it's hard to believe it never crossed his mind.
Asked if he thought he would be back with the Rangers next season, Hamilton initially responded: "I have no clue."
Hamilton later told a small group of reporters that he thinks it's a 50/50 chance he will return.
"I would always love to stay here," Hamilton said. "They understand that and they know that. When we talked earlier in the year, we didn't get things worked out, so we said we'd wait until the year was over and they obviously get the first shot.
"But we'll see what happens. I've enjoyed my last five years here, playing with these guys. It's been the most fun I've ever had in my life playing baseball. To the fans, it's been a good run, no matter if you send me off with boos or not, I still love you."
